The Tavern/Restaurant at Hwy 45 & NN was called Frank & Jeans?

The Schliemann Farm-later the Duttweiler Farm was located where the Pheasant Run Landfill is located?  The farmhouse was just east of Hwy 45 near the present garages.

Dike Johnson operated his Interstate Farm Equipment store on the south side of  Cty. K just east of Hwy 45.

A General Store (Paul Grew) was located on the NE corner at the intersection of Hwy 45 & 142. 

A farm/sawmill was located on the present site of the Bristol Motel Hwy. NN & Hwy. 45.

Hamm's Lake was the site of ghost sightings?

  

Seth Butler Meyrick settled in Paris in 1837 and named it after his former home in Oneida County, New York. The following books contain a wealth of information about Paris Township. Ever notice the old iron bridge south of Hwy. N and just east of the landfill?  Highway N at one time curved to the south and used that bridge.
